It is a fun phenomenon at Harvest Community Church. Whenever you look at the auditorium on a Sunday morning you see one of two scenes. Either the scene before we break for refreshements, or the scene after. They look different because we have such a nice group of kids and many of them are engaged in Kingdom Kids and Nursery after the break.
Here is my encouragement...leave a ministry legacy with those kids! It would be great from my perspective if our kids growing up around us were able to get input from the adults at church, and it can happen as adults volunteer a Sunday here and there to speak into these kids lives by being their 'teacher for a Sunday'. I know people oftentimes don't think of themselves as a teacher and it may in fact not be your gifting. However love is the trump card, and we can all do that! So rather than signing up to teach for a Sunday, why not sign up to 'love for a Sunday' and spend some time loving on those kids. Let me know or Lori Mynczywor know and we will put you in contact. You can give up a sermon for a Sunday, and both the kids and me will love you for it!
